Jeremy Tucker Recommendation Report Sample
It is a sincere privilege to recommend Jeremy Tucker for the Pioneer superintendent’s position. I have had the pleasure of working closely with Mr. Tucker over the past three years. I have seen the changes he has made to improve our school, including curriculum mapping, regular faculty training, and so much more. He spends time with each staff member encouraging us to meet and exceed our fullest potential.

Mr. Tucker genuinely cares about each individual. Our students feel secure and appreciate the learning environment that he provides. He doesn’t hesitate to lend assistance, provide immediate feedback, and introduce new innovative ideas to promote the ultimate learning experience. His guidance doesn’t stop there; however, is prevalent in far too many measurable actions to count.

He tells us about the budget cuts, the increase of quality in the staff and education, and the attempt to increase the number of students they graduate in the follow years. After stating that, he challenged other colleges to make education "affordable and accessible to everyone.” He goes on to state, "if we put the cost of public higher education out of reach and fail to invest in our faculty and staff, we will be unable to develop the talent our businesses will need in the year ahead.” He also says that there are benefits from this increase in education. Mike Rose’s “I Just Wanna Be Average” essay makes me mad, but, at the same time, it makes me realize how lucky I am. I had never been in a special program, so I never thought about the students who were in those programs. Actually, my school had the kind of vocational track that the essay introduced, but I didn’t care about them because I wasn’t part of the track. Therefore, I really didn’t know that the students who were in that kind of special programs could be lost their identity due to poor instruction and suffered from lacking of motivation. Reading this essay, I double-checked that education needs the harmony of students, teachers, and its system. Temporarily, I thought, if there were more teachers who thought like Mr.MacFarland in reality, students would embrace learning because Mr.MacFarland truly knows how to speak to a student.…

Since the early 1960 's, Congress has sought to ensure have equal access to employment and advancement in the federal government for all people despite their race. In 1965, President Lyndon Johnson signed Executive Order 11246, it was a central concept of the Great Society programs of the Johnson administration. The order stated that government contractors should be employed "without regard to their race, creed, color, or national origin."(Ginsburg) It was based on the assertion that the high levels of unemployment and ongoing discrimination that women and minorities encountered were hindrances to the vision of the Great Society. The federal government therefore devised "affirmative action" programs to remedy such discriminatory practices and their consequences. Although affirmative action programs were created to give a boost to minority employment, they create a sense of color consciousness and inequalities even in minority employment.…

Ryan, in “Five Miles Away, a World Apart”, identifies good principals and teacher as being “especially” influential amongst various factors that are directly related to academic achievement. The principal and staff of the schools are ultimately the ones who are most influential in terms of the final learning experience and outcomes of each…
