“If I could travel anywhere in the world, I would travel to Jamaica”

If I could travel anywhere in the world, where would I go? My number one place in the world to travel to would be Jamaica. Jamaica to me is one of the most beautiful, exotic, and tropical place I have ever researched. My main reason to travel to Jamaica would be to explore the Dunn’s River Falls. I would also explore Montego Bay as well as to try the exotic foods. I would like to explore the Dunn’s River Falls because the falls stand 180 feet tall and tourists are able to climb them. It takes about an hour and a half to climb these gigantic falls. The Dunn’s River Falls are covered in lush, green vegetation, and is well shaded; this will help the climbers to stay cooled off when climbing. The Dunn’s River Falls empty into the Caribbean Sea, where White-Sand Beach is located. Not only are these waterfalls described as a “living phenomenon” but, Dunn’s River Falls is one of the very few falls that are made up of spring water that empties directly into the sea. It is said that Dunn’s River Falls is the location of the legendary battle of “Los Chorreras”. The battle was between the English and the Spanish Expeditionary Force from Cuba in 1657. This is absolutely fascinating to me. In addition to the Dunn’s Rover Falls, I would also like to explore Montego Bay. I would love to do some shopping in the area. I would also like to do some clear water snorkeling. I love to shop everyday but, snorkeling in the seas of Jamaica is something I have never done. I am a huge fan of the tropical fish in the ocean, even though I am frightened by sharks and sting rays. I know that snorkeling would be one of the most amazing things I could explore. Therefore, I am willing to go beyond my fears of the ocean to see the beauty that is offered in the seas of Jamaica. Montego Bay has a landmark called “Bellefield Great House” that

GRAND CAYMAN REMINDED ME OF THE CLASSIC SEA SIDE TOWN, LAID BACK ATMOSPHERE, WINDY SALTY SEA AIR, THE ONLY THING MISSING WAS A LIGHTHOUSE. IT WAS A VERY PEACEFUL FEELING THERE. I HAD BOOKED AN EXCURSION WITH A PLACE CALLED CAPTAIN RON’S AND WE WENT OUT BY BOAT FIRST STOPPING AT THE BARRIER REEF AND THEN ENDING THE DAY BY SWIMMING WITH STINGRAYS. AT THE REEF ONE OF OUR GUIDES WAS AN EXCELLENT FREE DIVER AND HE ASKED US ALL TO HOP INTO THE WATER WITH HIM AND ONCE WE DID HE TOLD US ABOUT A ‘FRIENDLY’ NURSE SHARK THAT LIVED IN THE AREA HE WAS HOPING WOULD STOP BY (THANK GOD SHE DIDN’T) AND AFTER ASKING US ALL TO PUT ON OUR SNORKEL GEAR HE DOVE DOWN ABOUT 20 FT AND COAXED A HUGE MORAY EEL OUT OF ITS DEN. IT WAS A GOOD 5 FT LONG AND VERY TEMPERMENTAL, IT SCARED ME TO BE REAL HONEST. ONCE DONE THERE WE WERE ON TO THE STINGRAYS. DID YOU KNOW THAT GRAND CAYMAN HAS THE ONLY HUMAN FRIENDLY POD OF STINGRAYS IN THE WORLD? WE FED THEM AND PET THEM AND THEY SWAM RIGHT UP AGAINST US. WE WERE TOLD THAT KISSING A RAY ON THE HEAD WAS 7 YEARS GOOD LUCK. I DID IT AND SO FAR I’TS BEEN 4 YEARS AND I CAN TELL YOU THERE IS NO TRUTH TO THAT MYTH. LOL. SO AFTER ANOTHER WHOLE DAY IN THE WATER WE WERE BACK ON THE SHIP AND HEADING FOR…

Egypt. The reason I would choose Egypt is to get a first-hand experience on the ancient method the Egyptians used to engineer structures. Their work was so exquisite and astonishing that it is crazy to think modern engineers find it nearly impossible to replicate them. Pyramids were the beginning of architecture and are considered to be the most precise structures know today. They had no modern technology and would generate the most precise masterpieces that current technology could not recreate. To visit these pyramids and the Sphinx would be the chance of a lifetime, for I want to be a very successful engineer one day. I know that visiting the origin place of the best engineers known to man will…
