Abstract

This investigation aimed to determine the effect of different transport method condition on survival of juvenile shrimp (Penaeus indicus). The general place of the study was in a laboratory in SEAFDEC, Tigbauan Iloilo. The treatments that were used were (A: 25 with Clove Oil, B: 25 without Clove Oil, C: Ambient Temperature with Clove Oil and D: Ambient Temperature without Clove Oil) were placed in polyethylene with three replicates. The setups were transported in 6 hours and 12 hours. The statistical procedure that was used in the conduct of the experiment is Two-way Analysis of Variance (ANOVA). Results showed that there was a significant difference among the treatments at different duration of transport (6 and 12 hours).
