Is the Dream Still Alive?
The well know “American Dream” definition is from James Truslow Adams in 1931,”life should be better and richer and fuller for everyone, with opportunity for each according or achievement. People believe this motto with all their mind. But polls show more than 50% believe the American dream is dead.
The American dream is supposed to mean everyone can live comfortably or even “live large” when really that’s almost impossible to achieve. According to liable resources the middle class hasn’t seen an increase in wage in fifteen years. When the cost to live has almost doubled in the same amount time.
