The internet is a place to interact with new people and a way to be exposed to strangers. The partial anonymity available online can be used as a mask for sexual offenders and psychos; they can appear to be ordinary normal people, and you have no way of really knowing what is the truth and what is a lie. Too much personal information is at risk on these social networking sites. You can 't really build a relationship with an online friend because on the internet…

“Don’t judge a book by its cover.” As what the quotes suggest, don’t determine the worth of something based on its appearance. The situation is the same with internet communication. A wide range of people is communicating through internet for various purposes. For example, sharing presentation files through emails. Even though the presentation slides have excellent points with interesting layouts and animations, it does not guarantee that the person who’s going to present it will give an excellent presentation as well. “I’d attended school in the real world up until sixth grade. I was a painfully shy, awkward kid, with low self-esteem and almost no social skills-a side effect of spending most of my childhood inside the OASIS. Online, I didn’t have a problem talking to people or making friends. But in real world, interacting with other people-especially kids my own age-made me a nervous wreck. I never knew how to act or what to say, and when I did work up the courage to speak, I always seemed to say the wrong thing” (Cline 30). Scientist have been proven that people do like to talk on internet than outside world, people do have lots of personality on internet and people do have different attitude too. It’s like your friends, you know for years and they talk differently on…

It seems like such a simple concept and yet every day so many opportunities to display it are missed because of our own self absorption. We are great at tuning others out around us while we thumb through our iPods on a busy street or talk on our cell phones while waiting in line at the grocery store. Respect for others doesn't have to be something that is visible to those around us. Many times it is in our unseen actions that we show greatest respect for others. If we learn to respect others, things like courtesy, care, consideration, the golden rule, politeness, and tact just naturally fall into place. These are all products of…

What do you consider respect and how do you respect others? Respect is something everyone wants because no one wants to be despised and hated by their peers, but many people don’t get the respect they want because of the actions they have done. They may set a bad impression of themselves for the people around them. This is because they don’t know the true meaning of the word. Respect means to admire someone or something deeply, as a result of their abilities, qualities, or achievements.…

I have often times been ridiculed by my parents, grandparents and even strangers by my use of the internet. My parents will often times say I spend way to much time on the internet, my grandparents say that the internet has consumed my life, and some strangers will mumble that I’m not paying attention to surroundings when sitting in Starbucks or Panera on my laptop, phone or iPad. They aren’t wrong either. I do use the internet a lot, and I’m not ashamed to say that whatsoever. However, that is how the world works in all honesty.…
