Inhumanity In 'Flowers For Algernon And Just Mercy'

Humans can be incredibly cruel and change others' lives just because of simple words. People don’t realize how inhumane this can be. Inhumanity is “extremely cruel and brutal behavior.” There are many examples of inhumanity that are found not only in the real world, but also in stories. The short story “Flowers for Algernon” is about a guy named Charlie who has had low intelligence his entire life and finally gets the opportunity to change that. The book Just Mercy is about a young black man who is a lawyer trying to prove a man innocent so that he can get justice. These readings have many examples of inhumanity.
