Illegal Immigration Issue Analysis

For many years the people of the earth have moved from location to location. This trend actually goes back thousands of years. With this common knowledge many people view immigration as natural and harmless: these people often reject those who have a different view on the issue of migration. This comes as no surprise because the United States is divided in to two sides, the Democrats (Left) and the Republicans (Right). Both sides are extremely stubborn and refuse to give any ground on coming to compromises on the issues. The Left feels as though there is not a problem with immigration. They feel that those who want to should be able to; they feel that the current immigration system is great and does the job. Some would even say that the system
The article states that a California native was shot and killed by an illegal immigrant who is a native of Mexico. The police arrested the shooter and discovered that the shooter has had many altercations with the law. They found that the shooter had been deported on five separate occasions (Kate Steinle). This incident shows just how ineffective the current boarder situation is. Now we all know that we are not supposed to judge a book by its cover, but how can you say that the current system works or is even too tough with instances like this and many others similar to this? Not only does this support the claim that illegal immigration is a problem it also drives a bigger wedge between those Mexicans who have migrated legally or are decedents of Mexican immigrants and those with in the country who are not of Mexican decent. Some parts of the country do not experience the migration of Mexicans and do not have any personal interaction with these people. So when the only thing the media reports is tragedies like this, those people begin to develop their own thoughts without any actual interactions with these people. These people only reference what they here in the media. So when the only report on part of an entire issue people infer and develop their own ideas. They do not look up other cases of illegal immigration nor the effects it has on the country. This is where both sides fail. They do not educate the people entirely, they only educate the people on what they want the people to know. So illegal immigration is a problem that must be dealt with be it a wall or deploying more people to secure our boarders, and these cases of violent illegal immigrants only add fuel to the racial tension fire, which the media does not report entirely because they know that the best way to control large groups of people is through
