Full of picturesque places and kind people, Huatulco is one of the most tranquil places in México
It is located in Oaxaca and it's considered a semi virgin beach.
At 1500 a man arrived at the coast carrying an enormous wood cross, and while he buried it in the sand he said: “I leave here the symbol for all your remedies, you must venerate and respect it, because there will come a time when you will know the true God and Lord of the Heavens and the Earth”.
Since that day the natives venerated the cross and they never tried to move it, just as the man told them.
One day Thomas Cavendish ordered to burn the cross, but to everyone's surprise he could not even damage it, neither with axes nor saws, even the fire left it intact.
