How To Write An Epilogue To The Giver
For the first time, he heard something that he knew to be music. He heard people singing. Jonas and the baby slid down the hill and ended right at the front door of a dwelling that seemed to be standing all alone itself. Very slightly and delicately he knocked on the door with his knuckles that felt like they were little tiny icicles hanging from a rooftop. An elder opened the door and asked, “What are you two little ones doing out here all alone.”
Jonas replied, “We were just sledding down that hill and then we ended up at your door.”
“Well would you like to come in for some hot chocolate?”, the elder asked
“Sure” , Jonas said in a confused tone.

Thirty minutes ago I was just having so much fun going down a hill on a sled. It was to much for Jonas’s mind to handle. He was getting very cold, very fast so he went back towards the elder’s dwelling, but as he walked back a mat lay on the ground that stated. “Welcome to Rosemary’s Dwelling.”. Jonas thought he had heard that name before, but he could not remember where from. All of his memories were sent back to the community. He decided to go back inside and look at her picture again. Rosemary told Jonas that sometimes when children are too young when they pass away God sends them back down to live a longer life. Jonas had still confronted Rosemary on how he was the replacement receiver and how he worked with the Giver. Then he felt the rush of guilt. Rosemary had been letting Jonas stay at her home. Jonas had found out that a home is what other communities call their dwellings. Rosemary was also feeding him and taking care of him, but he had still had not told her the truth. So he felt like it needed to happen. So he walked over to Rosemary’s sleeping quarter and opened the door. He woke her up from her sleep and started to confront her.
“Jonas, sweetheart I’ve known.”, She said joyfully.
“Wait what?”, Jonas replied.
“Jonas I’ve known this ever since the day you walked through my door. I was told by our leader of elsewhere that I needed to take care of you. His exact words were You receivers need to stick together.”
Jonas stood there with a blank look on his face and questioned himself and Rosemary.
“So when I was chosen for the job of the receiver you were watching from up here?”, Jonas questioned
“Yes my darling!” , Rosemary replied. “Everyone can see everything up
