How Does Social Media Affect People's Lives?
Throughout time, social media has had the power to change some history facts that include factors such as historical and social events, which has lead to many changes. Social media has played a great role in people’s lives during this time period because it gave people a chance to have a voice and a chance to share their opinions about particular history events such as 9/11 and so on. There are so many reasons that allow people to prefer speaking on the Internet instead of going on controlled channels. Keeping in mind that it can be used as both, a negative and a positive way. However, history events made people more bias towards different races and religions due to the rumors that haunt the social media.

Without a doubt, these social experiments are done by people who want to make a positive difference in the world, however there are people who use it as a method in order to make a race or religion look bad, these types of people think that they’re doing the right thing and it is acceptable to harass a certain amount of race in public to get the reaction they’re looking for, for instance, frustration and anger and use it against them or as a way to entertain the viewers. Sadly, not caring about hurting other people’s feelings has become a norm. Those types of social experiments are increasing nowadays, despite the fact that the majority of people around the world are currently not recognizing that the amount of deaths that are caused by murdering and blaming innocent souls are currently increasing instead of decreasing. Most times when videos do get viral is when a social media influencer or celebrity shows the world what is going on behind people who supports them back. For example, the shooting of Alton sterling, a 37-year-old black man, who was innocently selling CD’s but sadly shot to death because a police officer yelled “He’s got a gun!” and shortly was pinned down to the ground, unable to move. Later after Alton was announced dead, people came out to protest with signs that had the phrase “Black Lives Matter” all over the state and using social media to spread the news
