How Does Ocean Pollution Affect Marine Life

Ocean pollution is affecting the ocean and marine life in a negative way. Ocean pollution comes in forms from oil spills to a dust. In passage two it says,”Ocean pollution occurs when potentially harmful or harmful sources of pollution reach the water.” Which provides a reason ocean pollution is harmful from potentially to harmful sources. Ocean pollution kills marine and sea animals and also seabirds. Ocean pollution is having a negative on sea life because it kills more than one million seabirds a year, it makes noise pollution a threat to marine life, and it threatens the species on earth. First, ocean pollution kills more than one million seabirds a year. In passage two it says,”Ocean pollution kills more than one million seabirds each year.” Which provides a reason to why ocean pollution affects seabirds too. Seabirds are affected by ocean pollution because of runoff, blowing debris, dust, and contamination from excessive nutrients, toxins, and pesticides. In passage two it says,”Most of the sources of ocean pollution originate on land, from runoff, blowing debris, dust, and contamination from excessive nutrients, toxins such as pesticides and metals, and particles.” Which are some of the reasons why seabirds are also affected.
In passage one it says,”Recent studies have proved that the increasing noise pollution in the sea also creating threats to marine life.” Which is evidence to why noise pollution is harmful affecting the marine life. The reason why noise pollution is bad to marine life is because it can hurt them and would make them die and probably become extinct. Which would be bad and would hurt the food chain and would make the predators become extinct. Which would be harmful to us too. Which is why noise pollution is bad to marine life, and can affect the other animals
