How Did The Assassination Of Robert F. Kennedy's Assassination Impact The Nation
The assassination of Robert F. Kennedy severely impacted the nation as a whole. The outraging killing by Sirhan Sirhan had done no justice as trying to make the nation better. Robert F. Kennedy was popular as to becoming the presidential candidate. This event of the assassination was one of the most shocking events in 1968 as Robert F. Kennedy was just gaining momentum to follow his brother, John, in the White House. The assassination of Robert F. Kennedy affected the people, locals, states, and nation severely because when Kennedy saw wrong he made it right, when saw suffering he would heal it, and when he saw war he tried to stop it and the nation looked up to him for that.
Robert F. Kennedy was born on November 20, 1925 in Brookline, MA and was devastatingly assassinated on June 6, 1968 in Los Angeles, CA. Kennedy was an american politician and became a lawyer who served as the U.S senator in New York. He had 11 children and married Ethel Skakel in 1950. Then, Robert F. Kennedy had worked his way up to winning a crucial victory in the California Democratic primary. Sirhan Sirhan had been at the celebration of Robert F. Kennedy winning the presidential primary. Robert F. Kennedy had been shot 3 times with a .22 revolver in the kitchen of the celebration. Kennedy had died a day later. Sirhan Sirhan had confessed at his trial in 1969 that he assassinated Robert F. Kennedy. Marsden writes, “Sirhan Sirhan did it for his country and repeated several times Robert F. Kennedy must die before June 5”. However, Sirhan Sirhan was intimidated by Robert F.
