A leader is a person that can take charge and that can respect other people. Martin Luther king Jr. was a Baptist that led The Civil Rights Movement. Many people respect him because of his speech “I had a dream”. He influences me because he changed the world.

    Martin Luther King made many contributions to society at the most difficult time. He helped African American’s gain civil rights and equality in America. He completed these contributions through actions like the bus boycott that he led in Montgomery, Alabama. The boycott fought against city buses that refused to allow African Americans to sit in the front seats of the buses.
