Homosexuality In Ang Lee's Adaptation Of Mountain
Ang Lee's adaptation of "Mountain", written by Annie Proulx, gets two thumbs up in Hollywood. Known as "Brokeback Mountain" on the big screen, this love-story portrays the romance between Heath Ledger (Ennis Del Mar) and Jake Gyllenhaal (Jack Twist). Throughout the movie Heath Ledgers friend-turned lover, Texas Rodeo Cowboy Jake Gyllenhaal portrayed the romance 100% better than that of Heath Ledger. Being obligated to sit through the 2 ¼ hours of the $6.30 movie I paid for, I've discovered that in the future I will certainly question the sexuality of Jake Gyllenhaal. It seems like Hollywood's agenda is to portray Homosexuality as okay in today's society. That is the only reason I can think that they would give this poorly written screen-play
