Homelessness In The Workplace

Have you ever wondered how many people out there don’t have homes? Well, more than half of the people in the world have experienced poverty for at least a year. Most people in poverty start looking for shelter or a place to live first. Well believe me, it's not easy. Some people believe that the homeless should care for themselves, but I think differently. I believe that people around the world should care more for the homeless because families need to have a place to live, they can't find jobs easily to become more successful, and because of the golden rule. Many people around the world don't have home’s, I feel like we should help them because the homeless can't exactly get a job easily. Critics argue that the homeless should care for themselves, like get a job. While that might be true that they could just get a job, but it's not that easy. For example, to get a job you need to be clean or somewhat presentable. But, if they are homeless, how are they able to clean themselves. Not just that, but for an interview, having a good impression always helps. If you were to show up to an interview or even work in smudges and rags, you’ll most likely not even get a job, let alone be able to go to work. Also, even if the homeless would be able to get a job, it still might not keep them out of poverty. You see, the job’s money might pay well enough to be able to to a house, but to other survival necessities, like food and clothing.
