Playing sports often helps players become more sociable and strong friendships. School sports can improve grades and help players gain more confidence in themselves. Playing sports can be the only thing some students look forward to during the school year.

Scientific studies have concluded that athletes pay more attention during school so they can get better grades to play in games. Some people might argue that sports keeps kids from focusing on schoolwork but studies show that when kids are in sports they are more focused on schoolwork than kids who are not in sports. Players often are forced to maintain certain grades in order for them to participate. Most people in sports want to play in the games so they keep their grades up so they can.

They gain their friendships though the sports and learning to work together. Teamwork has been driven into their brains for as long as they have played sports. When children start playing sports at a young age, they are more likely to develop friendships that last. There are 5 million youth that participate in school sports a year, that's a lot of people that children can make friends with. Children also talk to other players a lot more and become more sociable.

Sports often help them gain confidence and stay in school. They often gain confidence because they are forced to go out of their comfort zones and do something they might never have done before. Sports can change the way that student look at life. Families who have children in sports typically see a change in attitude, they are normally more happy and have more energy. Naturally others would say sports takes away from family time but it can help because then their family will come to their sporting events. Which can lead to have more conversations about how the student feels about school and sports.

Often kids who are in sports have confidence and stay close to school. Friendships are often gained from playing sports with different people. Athletes also pay attention more in school so they can get good grades. Sports can often help kids let off some steam so they can focus more on
