I also find it frustrating depending on who I am talking to, but I am trying to improve being patient when receiving those very confusing messages. After I read them I respond with a 'What?', and I end up feeling super bad especially if the message they sent was lengthy. Maybe just looking more into the messages or scrabbling some letters up will help fix the issue, because at times who ever is sending a message may be in a hurry, never realizing that more than half the message is…

Paula Scher, also known as America’s first design lady, is a graphic designer, illustrator and art educator. The Tyler School of Art in Philadelphia is where Paula Scher majored in illustration and finished her BFA in nineteen seventy. As a student Scher abstained from graphic design as she was short of the required tidiness artistry, and she did not like aligning Helvetica on a framework. “The act of organizing the Helvetica type-face on a grid reminded me of cleaning up my room,” she admitted. Drawing was her tender spot, so she adopted an approach which was to illustrate using type Stanislaw Zagorski who was her teacher. He was the one to give her that advice which was profoundly substantial for her career. Shcer describes in her book “MAKE IT BIGGER” that the Zigzag rolling paper and album covers, especially the Beetles’ covers where her major inspiration during the sixties. This influence can be noted in some of the work she did at CBS, like the cover for Ralph MacDonald, fig:1, the way feet are place bears resemblance to the Beetles cover, fig:2.…

You're one of my favorite teachers I've ever had. English and writing played a part, but the way you taught and related to kids on their level was pretty awesome to watch. I thought it was funny how you'd go off subject at a moment's notice and I remember you even bringing up two of my favorite subjects in class - Punk Rock and graffiti. I was especially impressed by your broad-mindedness and unrelenting support for the underdog.…

You have made me think about my current and future students more carefully than anyone ever has, and for that, I am beyond grateful.…

Hi friends! My name’s Sam, I’m a 4'11", 17 year old bisexual girl from VA who leans more toward other girls, although I think all people are wonderful :) I just recently started coming out to people, and I’m definitely still in the process of figuring out who I am. I like reading and art, and I practically live off bad jokes/puns so if you have any, send ‘em my way! Feel free to hmu any time, I have very little to do with my life and am always looking for new people to talk to! I’m an enormous band nerd (flute players for the win!), enjoy Harry Potter, and am also a makeup and style fiend. I love music of (almost) all genres, so send me your favorite songs too! I have depression/anxiety, but try my hardest to look on the bright side and help…
