Hell or High Water
Not since Heat (Pacino, DeNiro, Kilmer) has a "good guy versus bad guy" movie had you rooting for both sides of such an elegantly shot and authentically acted film about justice and loyalty. Hell or High Water is impressively robust with clever, dialogue-driven suspense!! Chris Pine is convincing as beautifully country and rather James Dean at times. I cannot rave more about the cast, screenplay, and cinematography. It is a well-told story about brothers, family, loyalty, justice, grit, good guys, bad guys, and sacrifice with some funny lines and hefty action along the bad guys' epic plan, which is also the good guys' pursuit. I forecast this as nominee for a Best Picture, Chris
