Aiii An explanation of how health and safety policies and procedures protect people who work in social care settings. It protects the health and safety commission ensure that risk to people’s health and safety from work activities are properly controlled in the work in social care.
Aiv A comparison of the differences in the main health and safety responsibilities of each of the following: Social care worker: Using the systems and procedures correctly. Reporting flaw or gaps in the systems equipment or procedures in use. Employer/Manager: Planning safety and security. Providing information about safety and security. Updating systems and procedures. Individuals: Safety of people using facilities – own safety and safety of the environment.
