Some of us also believe that we don't always have equal opportunities to thrive in succes as well as others, myself included. NHI proves me and any other Hispanic that thinks alike- wrong. Direct investment among the richest countries has been one of the eminent features of the world economy since the mid-1980s. Within this broad trend, Europe features prominently as both a home and host to multinational enterprises (MNEs). Not only did many Japanese and American firms invest massively, but even the most somnolent European firms appeared to awake to the need to look beyond their own national borders. During the last decade, the country became an attractive FDI destination due to three main circumstances. Firstly, because Bulgaria had a rather low GDP, there was significant room for growth, and the stable amount of GDP and rates of inflation Bulgaria achieved during the 2000-2005 period appeared promising. Secondly, the strengthening of the national economy coincided with Bulgaria’s accession to the EU in 2007 which caused further FDI inflow. Thirdly, as a result of regional trade and market cooperation, Greek FDI had already become a major inflow of investment in Bulgaria’s industry. Thus, by the end of 2008 Bulgaria’s national economy had become one of the most FDI heavily reliant countries in the Central and Eastern Europe region, attracting EUR 6,7 billion.1…

I have always wanted to become a financial banker and graduate from the University of Houston. After receiving my Associate's degree in banking from Houston Community College, I will decide which University of Houston campus I will attend. Some of my goals in life are to be a good financial banker and to find a good job at the bank. Many people told me not to go into banking because of the economy, but I wanted to go into this profession really like to be a good banker because I’m good in this and I have many experience. The first and most immediate benefit of being a recipient of a scholarship receiving is an award for my efforts, reducing outside pressure and allowing me more time to study. A scholarship would allow me to focus more time on my studies instead of worrying about where the money will come. On a more personal level a scholarship will reinforce my self-confidence strengthen my determination to succeed. I deserve a scholarship because when I came to the United States of America eleven years ago from Egypt; I did not know a word of English. High school was very difficult for me. I did not believe that I would finish or graduate from high school. Because all the subjects were so difficult. I couldn’t understand anything. I felt anxious every time I went to school. I didn’t know what to do because I felt so alone and I had no friends. I kept wondering if I should leave school and go to work or stay at home. I finally told my dad and mom that I could not continue like this and I begged them to let me drop out of school. They asked why and I told them that it was because I didn’t understand the language not what they were trying to teach .it was almost like I was living in another world. However my parents told me that I would still need to learn English regardless of if I left and found a job.…
