Harry Houdini was born on March 24, 1874 in Budapest, Hungary. Houdini’s parents that gave birth to him were Mayer Weisz and Cecilia Steiner and he also had 6 siblings. He moved to Appleton, Wisconsin at a young age. Harry Houdini first knew he was going to do magic when he did his first magic trick when he was 9 years old. He named himself after a french magician.
