Hard 2 Hide Research Paper

“Hard 2 Hide” is an original musical created and produced by myself and another student in my last year of high school. The musical focused on addressing serious problems with which teenagers in high school may be secretly managing, including anorexia, drug abuse, and the peer pressure associated with societal demands. However, because of the limited resources available and our relative inexperience with creating a musical from the absolute beginning, there were many points in the development of the production in which we were forced to make drastic cuts and revisions, sometimes only hours before a scheduled rehearsal. In addition, because the cast of this musical was composed of our fellow peers, the usual director-cast relationship established
