Hamilton By Lin-Miranda Analysis
I am neither for or against "Hamilton". Lin-Manuel Miranda , the writer of "Hamilton", had a great idea about writing this play. I do believe, though, that he over glorified Alexander Hamilton. No human being has ever been as well liked and of perfect nature as they portrait Hamilton as. The opinions on "Hamilton" would be much different if they were to choose a white cast. Consequently, choosing a white cast would portray Hamilton to be more awful then Miranda wanted. It suprizes me that a lot of viewers view this production as history, rather than entertainment.

Furthermore, Lin-Manuel Miranda did an astonishing job writing this play. He made the majority of the people believe that Hamilton was a great person. He glorified Hamilton's

What caught my attention to this play was that the two authors were passionate about this theme for the play and obviously researched the history of the actual trial, in order to portray it as realistically as possible. This hard work and attention to detail created a very informative and memorable play. (Although some…

The piece was extremely clever how they only used four actors during the entire show. This brings me onto costumes. The costumes in this production were very bare and essential for quick changes while on stage, and this gave the play a comic feel because they changed on the stage in front of the audience. Many times the costume was a plain suit and the actors played different characters by simplistically putting so a hat, coat or a prop. I enjoyed this because it helped me associate different characters with the little bit of costume they had.…

Some of the most unique aspects of “Hamilton” are the rap battles that are performed. These connect with young of today’s time and incorporate a past time of colored individuals with extremely important moments giving them a sense of possession of the revolutionary era doing the job of a fanfiction. (Romano) Alexander Hamilton’s revolution is markedly different from a normal man’s view of the events to come in history. “Hamilton” also tries to change public view of how Hamilton felt about the revolution by avoiding his major contradictions in character such as his issue with the masses and magnifying his more honorable qualities such as his stance against slavery.…

Alexander Hamilton helped shape America as a founding father, in ways such as politics and government. One of the most famous quotes from him is “Those who stand for nothing fall for anything” (Alexander Hamilton). Born on the small West British Indies island of Nevis, Alexander was made to be a historical figure of importance. He had shown signs of great intelligence starting after a hurricane hit his hometown, and he wrote essays non-stop. He was one of the hardest working founding fathers of America, who did a lot for our country. Without him, the U.S. Constitution might not be, since alongside John Jay and James Madison, they wrote eighty-five essays amongst themselves, defending it. He contributed the other fifty-one essays to what…

The ideal American republic for Hamilton from Johnson perspective is that Hamilton created a scheme in order to run the country. The scheme was helpful to America because as he predicted America was able to borrow money more cheaply. The Debt-funding was the first policy drafted by Hamilton. He also spoke about implemented measures for individuals who tried to rebel against taxation. Hamilton got the militia to dissolve the rebellion to basically prove the government is not in control. In Zinn’s argument about Hamilton, he stated that Hamilton suggested that there should be a president and senate for life and the government should a line itself with the richest element of the society.…

Even though the play is pretty mild as far as age appropriateness goes younger or immature student wouldn’t be able to grasp the complexities of the protagonist, nor would they be interested enough to watch the entire play. I asked my history teacher if she thought that some of her students would sit through All the Way , because she has seen it before and she said only her advanced students because they could look past the social differences that aren’t necessarily acceptable nowadays. I remember in the 6th grade I went to see Madame Butterfly with my class, and I understood most of the themes but most of my classmates either didn’t pay attention or were too angry to see the art behind the plot. Even for myself the first time J. Edgar Hoover referred to MLK Jr as a n***** (can I put this?). I was admittedly offended until I had to remind myself that in this time period referring to african americans out their names were common, accepted, and sometimes encouraged. During this time, we, African Americans, we still sitting in the back of the bus, using separate restrooms, schools, and entrances. I know that it angered people, but I assume they were used to it because that how it has always been. I can relate to this because I find it normal when someone judges someone by the color of their skin. This doesn’t mean it’s right, but it is not surprising. But to me what was surprising was…
