Grouchy Ladybug

The Grouchy Ladybug by Eric Carle is a concept book which takes place bright and early in the morning. This book centers around the main characters, the grouchy ladybug and the friendly ladybug. The grouchy ladybug did not feel that it should have to share the aphids with the nice ladybug and insisted on fighting the nice ladybug to settle who will get the aphids, until he decided that nice ladybug was not “big” enough. The grouchy ladybug, despite its size, was looking for a fight and challenged everyone he saw regardless of their size or strength.
