The textbook illustrated that one afternoon the thief decided to steal in the dragon’s cave. The dragon didn’t seem happy about the thief actions, so he went tormenting all Beowulf people. Beowulf then took it upon himself and commence to attacking the dragon. While he was fighting with the dragon his fellow soldier departed from him in fear, but the main character that stood by his side was Wiglaf. In the movie they presented that the thief stole the golden cup from the dragon cave. The dragon began torturing those of the Geats for this thief bad stealing habits. Beowulf then came to his senses that he was going to have to protect his people, so he rode his horse toward the scene finding it quite challenging. Beowulf men began shooting arrows at the dragon trying to weaken it, and Wiglaf riding up to the scene went to the nearest entrance he can find. Beowulf finally cutting his arm to where he can reach the dragon’s throat killing him.
