Great Wall of China
The Great Wall of China is one of the world’s popular wonders in the ancient world that some people wish they can visit. The Great Wall is the longest monument known to mankind. The Great Wall wasn’t just there for show it has a really important job for the Chinese. Shi Huangdi created the Great Wall and with some prisoners of war. He built the wall to protect them from the Mongolians and other invaders. Meng T'ien employed 300,000 men to construct different sections of the Great Wall of China. Qin Shih Huang also known to be the first emperor to built the earliest Great Wall after the unification of China under the central Qin government. A wall was built that was 8,851.8 km the longest wonders in ancient history and present day. A wall that was to protect the Chinese warriors from their enemies. History was built by the 300,000 men that were employed by Meng T’ien. A piece of history that took people’s lives to make that was 5,500 miles long. The Great Wall of China, majority of it was built in 221-204 B.C. (before Christ). That some people think that it was a really long time ago. The Great Wall of China was built before the Sui Dynasty which was in 581-618 A.D. (after death). Most of the wall fell down during this time, but was repaired by the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644). Since parts of the wall have been falling apart ever since the Chinese government has been repairing it since 1949.

The Great Wall of China is not just located just in one city it go threw a lot of different cities. The Great Wall crosses Liaoning, Shanxi, Shaanxi, Sichuan, Jilin, Shandong, Hubei, Hunan, and Gansu provinces; Beijing and Tianjin municipalities; Inner Mongolia and Ningxia Autonomous Regions. They didn’t really have a spot to put the Great Wall of China because they just had to put it to defend themselves so they had to build the Great Wall of China threw many different cities and towns.
