ASSIGNMENT: Discuss five (5) Factors that account for negative attitude with persons with disabilities. There are several factors that account for the negative with persons with disabilities. Disability in simple term is the permanent physical or mental in capacity of the individual. These factors accounting for the negative attitude with persons with disabilities could be physical or mental factors. The physical factors include the person’s inability to walk, write, jump, run etc whiles the mental factors include the person’s inability to think, speak, listen or do mathematical calculations. Some of the factors the hips accounts for the negative attitude with persons with disabilities are discussed below. Firstly, stigmatization is one of the factors that account for the negative attitude with persons with disabilities. People with disabilities have branded transudes as unworthy or disabilities that they cannot do things that can be beneficial to themselves the society as a whole. Due to their state of condition, they think and recognize themselves as peoples who are not worthy of or befitting Persons. Dissemination is another factor that account for negative attitude with persons. With disabilities. Persons with disability scatter about and they have spread widely every where in the country. Most of the disables do not belief in themselves that educating them to be self reliant and self independent in the society or in the nation is an impossible or unachievable task and therefore move about in the nation or country begging for alms instead of been educated.
