Some of the factors that lead to the development of motion picture industry. It seems that the development of motion picture industry started in Hollywood. It’s almost the first thing that comes to someone’s mind when you think film, production. Some of the things that makes up a Hollywood movie are, the story, the style and director, all play a role. It was and still is the director who orchestrates the story telling process, and Illusion that is created through director vision. In the beginning days of Hollywood, so many films were being produced that it gathered the world’s best talent to create these classic films we have today. Through the look of cameras film makers such as Martin Scorsese and Sydney Pollack relied on style, narrative, and visual elements to effectively tell their story. The narrative, meaning driving the film forward for an audience, how the camera moves, what it sees and actors expressions is all a part of having a good narrative, which was something the director created. The Narrative is structured into acts that establish, develop, and resolve character conflict.
