My Funeral Plans

To my dearest friends and family, If you are reading this letter, I have passed on to the God I have always prayed to. Please do not mourn my death, but celebrate my life. Even though I have now moved on, I was able to enjoy each day of my life as if it were miracle. I look down upon you all with abundant love and much appreciation for such a wonderful life. Below are my wishes for how my life is to be celebrated. First thing to consider is my desire to be an organ donor. I feel very strongly about donating the use of my viable organs in an effort to help another person and their family. Please do all possible to make this happen. While on this Earth, I was very

As the executor of my will, I trust that Kyle Lunsford will see this wish to be carried out. I am displeased with the idea of being in a vault or casket underground for the rest of eternity. Therefore, I wish to be cremated with a simple but elegant urn, costing anywhere between $95 and $2,560, would be appreciated. I have pre-arranged which funeral home I would like my memorial service and cremation to be held at. I have chosen the Hunter funeral home in Alpena, Michigan. At this funeral home, the crematory fee is $300. Upon completion, I wish to have a semi-formal memorial service displaying the urn. The memorial service will be held at the funeral home in the evening, thirteen days after I have passed on. During the service, I wish to have white and purple lilies distributed around the altar and room. Seek the services of Sunrise flower shop in Alpena, Michigan. I have always felt that they have the most beautiful flowers there. I want the music to reflect who I was and how I lived my life. Therefore, I wish to have the music of Michael Bublé and Josh Groban playing throughout the service. I leave it to the responsibility of my brother to make sure the visitation book is available for guest signatures. My

One green funeral horror story in the UK found a family upset with their father's funeral for a variety of reasons. One, his body was not available to be viewed, as it was not embalmed. Two, the cardboard coffin he had chosen seemed flimsy in retrospect and handling it made them nervous. Three, he was buried next to a pet cemetery, which struck them all as extremely…

Almost everyone would want to be able to say, “I have saved a life.” But by becoming an organ donor, you can be able to say, “I will save a life.” Organ donation is a selfless way to give back to others, and to be able to make a huge difference by giving another person a second chance at life. Unfortunately, the number of patients waiting for organs far exceeds the number of people who have registered to become organ donors. Patients are forced to wait months, even years for a match, and far too many die before they are provided with a suitable organ. There are many stigmas related to organ donation, but most of them are relatively false, and in order to be well informed, you must know what organ donation is, how it works as well as how you can become an organ donor and what organs or tissues you can donate. Becoming an organ donor after death is not only an important decision for yourself, but it is also an important decision for the life that you may have the power to save. (Finn, Robert)…

    My Funeral

For my funeral, I would like everyone I know to come to it. Also I would very appreciate it if no one cries or is sad. I would just like it if they share my memories instead of mourning over them. I don't mind if my funeral is not that fancy, because I will not be there to see it, but I sure don't want the mood of the funeral very melancholy. I would also like people to dress in white, as per our Indian culture. I do not want to be buried underground and just rot away, but I would like it very much if I am cremated. I would like my ashes to be scattered in India, near my home there. During my wake, I would like everyone to do prayers with me and hope that I would come back to them in a different form, because I believe in rebirth. In my culture, we don't mourn over the ones we lost, but understand that God pick his flowers for a reason and we don't question the all knowing. My funeral should all be the way they used to do it in India. Most importantly, I would like to die where I was born, in Chicago. There, most of my friends and family live. I would also like the president to come to my funeral, even though that might be impossible, along with Bill Gates. I would also like to have my favorite possessions, at the time, to be with me at the wake. Mainly, I would very, very much appreciate it if my family members do not cry, because that will make my soul very sad and much attached to the previous body. Also I would like if everyone shares my memories on behalf of me, since I can not address to the public when I am dead. My funeral does not have to be the most expensive, but it would be excellent if it is the most…
