Quarterback Colin Kaepernick should respect the country and stand during the flag salute. Kaepernick has disgraced many people. Jaweed Kaleem, a news reporter for Los Angeles Times says, "Gold Star Moms and Green Berets have taken sides, saying the 28-year-old has either disgraced veterans or honored them" (Kaleem). We live in a very special country and Kaepernick should respect that. Even though he thinks he's experienced racism that doesn’t open the doors to him disrespecting the officers that are doing their jobs. People lose their lives fighting for this country and keeping the peace. He has insulted many people and started a bad trend. Kaepernick should stand and respect the country he lives
