From those who have given explanations from either sides, they feel that this image does not give enough relevant information on why it is important to think of both sides of an accident while driving. Drivers can be inconsiderate when it comes to their surroundings outside of the vehicle because they are easily distracted by something else.
Ekburg is a photo of a husband, wife, and child in their vehicle going on a vacation during the holidays (Ekburg.RU). The husband is driving and talking on his cellphone while having a conversation with his wife who’s looking at a map as their child sits in the backseat (Ekburg.RU). They are driving through a school zone because in front of their vehicle is a young school boy in a uniform with his backpack, yelling as he’s about to get hit. This photo has a grey tone to it which makes this a neutral image meaning it can only convince a certain group of people, like parents. …show more content…
It’s advertising belief, trust, and confidence to parents that those out there driving have enough character to protect their child. “Think of both sides” is text from the photo meaning to think of both sides of the situation (Ekburg.RU). Meaning that, if you were that parent with the child walking to or from school, you would want them to make it safely. As on the other hand, if you were that parent driving, you would not want to hit someone else’s child because it could be yours.
