    Daisy Buchanan symbolizes different things to different people. She symbolizes everything that is immoral and corrupt to the readers, but to Gatsby, she is everything he has dreamed of since he was a young boy. Daisy is introduced in the book first as a girl with “an absurd, charming, little laugh” (Gatsby, 8) and her “charm” and giddiness were exposed.
