Actions speak louder than thoughts.
One person’s actions clearly show more importance than a person’s thoughts. A person can think or vocalize their beliefs and thoughts, but until the person actually performs the actions, they have no impact on others.
A prime example of this would consist of the first war of Scottish independence, where many Scottish people thought and dreamt of freedom, but it wasn’t until this actions of a brave landowner, and assassination of William de Heselrig, the English high sheriff of Lanark, in May 1297, which led to others joining his actions and eventually lead to a truce between England and Scotland in 1302. The doers are often referred to as the worker bees and the thinkers are those that are the brains behind the scenes. However, a thinker who never became a doer has no foundation. For example, a person who has ever listened to someone map out an idea or try to communicate a strategy, just witnessed lack of doing which presents an opportunity for failure?
If a person wants to learn to cook classic French cuisine, then they possibly will go to learn more from a chef that actually produced a final product versus someone who just memorized the recipe. The chef that has actually prepared the recipe not only knows what the ingredients are, but they also know what it’s supposed to look like, as well as how each ingredient and flavor should complement each other.
