INTRODUCTION:

What is ethics and logic? Before I enter this subject I don’t have an idea of what is the meaning of those words but now, I learned a lot and those things and knowledge that I learned will help to be a better person now and in the near future. Studying ethics and logic is a good idea because in ethics it will help us to know the right and wrong action and in the logic it will help us to think right if we have ethics and logic in our life we will be having a better life because to think right is to do right. In ethics human is the center of morality because human can do they want ethics is all about the human characteristics and human behavior. We only know that right is right if we know what is wrong. In studying ethics it is also about the socialization from others, how we treat the other people. Ethics deals with moral order which includes social order. It deals with our relation to the society if there is no socialization there will be a problem we have to adjust sometimes to have a proper order in our society and especially in our family because family is the basic unit of society. Ethics studies the human conduct there are indeed other sciences which also study human conduct such as sociology, psychology and education, but ethics differ each of these in its standpoint or in particular aspect of human acts, with which it is particularly concerned and this is the morality of human acts. Ethics is the backbone of human existence that give support to the whole life direction of man without ethics there will total collapse of the whole man and the entire human society.

Ethics can be defined in several ways. However, to give it a working definition, it can be defined as “The rules of conduct recognized in respect to a particular class of human actions or a particular group, culture, etc.” (dictionary.com, 2013). Another definition, albeit not a working one, is: “The branch of philosophy dealing with values relating to human conduct, with respect to the rightness and wrongness of certain actions and to the goodness and badness of the motives and ends of such actions” (dictionary.com, 2013).…

What is Ethics? My understanding of Ethics is that it is the difference between doing something right or doing something wrong. People make choices in life that could affect them either positively or negatively. For example, when I make the choice to go to all of my classes on Monday this would be the right thing for me to do. By paying attention, by making sure I understand the material, taking notes, raising my hand and asking questions will enable me to become better prepared. I would benefit by going to every class for the entire semester which will help me become more organized and equipped which could eventually lead to better grades and understanding. On the other hand, the wrong decision would be not to go to all of my classes. I would…

Ethics, also known as moral philosophy is the study of right conduct and good character. There are two different approaches to ethics, one is a person’s actions and the other is the character of the person. Although both ethics and the law deal with ‘right conduct’ they are not the same thing. To take an example of this, it is legal for a woman to terminate a pregnancy and have an abortion but there are a lot of people who think this is ethically wrong.…

The utilitarian ethical theory is founded on the ability to predict the consequences of an action. To a utilitarian, the choice that yields the greatest benefit to the most people is the choice that is ethically correct. One benefit of this ethical theory is that the utilitarian can compare similar predicted solutions and use a point system to determine which choice is more beneficial for more people. This point system provides a logical and rationale argument for each decision and allows a person to use it on a case-by-case context (1,2).…
