Essay On Why Marijuana Should Not Be Legalized
When I was a little girl everyone would always tell me that “Drugs are bad”, every chance doctors, teachers and adults had to tell me drug were bad they did. As I grew up I started to see a lot of people doing mostly one illegal drug called marijuana. I could never understand why people told me it was so bad, and yet I see a lot of grownups doing it. Being a young adult and having a few run ins with the drug, and the effect it has on other people, the one thought that comes to my mind is why hasn’t marijuana been legalized in other states. The fight to legalize marijuana in the United States of America has been going on for way to long. Why are they making the drug worse then what it really is? Marijuana has to been proven to provide a nice impact on America. Some of the reasons why we should legalize marijuana is for economic reasons, health and even crime. This beautiful plant that we all know and should learn to love is called marijuana. The plant is well known for giving the people who use it as a high as we call it, and is illegal to almost all of the world. Some places are stricter when it comes to using the drug, selling it or even simply just have the drug on or around you, and other places are more chilled with it. In this day and age more and more people are actually moving towards wanting to legalize the drug in America.
