Essay On Universal Healthcare
In the year 2010 the United States spent nearly $2.5 trillion on Healthcare for those who could not afford it. The installation of universal Healthcare will cut the available medical services. Even though it’s payed for by the government, free universal Healthcare is never actually free. Free Healthcare is also not fair for those who are employed somewhere and earn money. They will have to pay for someone else's Healthcare who chooses not to get a job. The government should not offer free Healthcare based off of the idea that not all patients would be able to receive the care they need, Healthcare is never really free, and only some people pay for everyone else’s medical care.
Universal Healthcare provides the opportunity for everyone to receive the care they wish, however this does not mean everyone acquires the treatment they …show more content…
The idea of universal Healthcare could encourage entrepreneurship which many people see as a benefit. When people leave their previous employer to start their own business they leave a hole in their position. This can have a negative effect their previous employer’s business. Additionally very few small businesses make it past the first two years of ownership and it leads them back into the need for employment in a larger business. Another convenience to having universal Healthcare would be equal access to Healthcare for all United States citizens. Although there is no human life more significant than another there are still people who need medical care more than others. When everyone has the same access to Healthcare this again would lead to longer wait times for those who are in serious need of care. Simply by providing people universal access to Healthcare would not motivate people to make the decisions needed to conduct a healthier lifestyle. People are still going to drink, smoke, and eat unhealthily despite their access to free

    The United States should have Universal Health Care. Having mandatory Health Care is a step closer to Universal Health Care. Most middle class families cannot afford insurance premiums for Health Care, so that is when government will step in toward Universal Health Care. United States is the only developed nation that does not have a structured Universal Health Care system. Health Care should be available to everyone and I know that one day the United State will be Universal Health Care. Overall, if the U.S were to engage in the Universal Health Care system this may overall be less abuse that transpires in the Emergency rooms due to people who are uninsured and under uninsured. Secondly, if people are seeking regular physicals and treatments the overall costs should balance out. There are over 45 million people in the U.S who do not have health coverage. This will soon change in 2014 and I truly believe that we will have a Universal Health Care System. The first is finding ways to insure every American, which will soon happen in 2014 but at the same time foreclosures and job losses, the last worry anyone needs is whether they can get thoughtful care with appropriate follow-up and etc. Obama’s Affordable Act might solve our problems but I don’t think it will solve it right away. We have nearly more than 100 problems and to fix everything at once might not be possible.…
