Meanwhile, a Hispanic-American locksmith by the name of Daniel, who is also a loving and dedicated husband and father, comes to fix the lock on Jean Cabbot’s door. Just because of they way he looked, and the fact that he was Hispanic, Jean made an unreasonable assumption that he is a thug and involved in gang-fights and wanted the locks to be changed by another person the next day. Consequently, Daniel changes the locks for Dorri’s father, Farhad. Daniel tells Farhad that he needed to change the door, but due to language barrier, Farhad did not entirely understand what Daniel was trying to say and thought he did not want to help him. They get into a heated argument and Daniel walks away. Farhad then takes the gun which his daughter had purchased earlier, and was on a mission to shoot Daniel, but Daniel’s little daughter jumps on him and gets shot instead. Miraculously, the bullets were faked and Farhad became a changed man after that close call. This particular scene as well as Christine’s accident, were truly the two most two heart gripping moments throughout the whole
