A longstanding concept and doctrine among social scientists hold that human races are a social construct and have no biological foundation. This had been an issue of research for the scientists and various efforts to assess the evolutionary theories and data evaluation were conducted to justify the link of race with human biology. Evolutionary history of human has some links to the race. Meanwhile, analysis of genomes of people around the world establishes that there is some biological basis for race, despite the contrary official version by social organizations. And race is more of a social and political categorization than a biological one. Variation in genotypic characteristics exists, but race does not capture it as per the human attitudes, social compulsions and political intricacies. As per social norms race has been portrayed on the basis of skin pigmentation, facial structure, hair texture and even 'blood quanta' (1/4 Native American, for example). But historically, dominant groups among the human populations have used race to justify unequal dispersion of force and assets, by deducing that some groups are naturally inferior. Global efforts to reduce racism would help to see world free from discrimination and prejudices on the basis of race.
It may be the start of slavery period or the ethnic and political construct during the past few centuries that resulted in the racism concept.
