Log #23: It has been awhile since my last entry, but I have made a few conclusions about the quizzical subject Hester Prynne. Hester is the one who let her passion get the best of her and she needs to feel the pain that I felt when she disgraced our marriage. Pearl is a child that should have never been created. Hester is not only unfit to be a mother, but my intuition tells me that Pearl if she grows up under Hester, she will turn out to be an extremely strange and curious child. Also, I believe she will not prosper in this community’s society.
