The debate of abortion has been one trending topic for decades. It is especially common in politics, where some Democrats are pro-choice and Republicans are pro-life. However, women should have the right to receive an abortion. The government shouldn’t have to determine someone’s decisions. It’s also good for women to decide about an abortion because they could be unstable, and it’s what’s best for the child. The government, no matter what the case may be, should never be the ones to choose someone’s decision, especially in abortion. If anything, someone in the medical field should at least help in making the decision. Amendment I of the U.S. Constitution states the right to have freedom of religion. There shouldn’t be a law for all to follow

Women usually get abortions for many reasons, one being in an unstable household. In fact, 93% of all abortions in the United States happen for social reasons one being that it is inconvenient – according to abortionno.org. People don’t want their child to live through horrible conditions. On the other hand, some people do believe that abortion is wrong and should be banned. Pro-life supporters even compare abortion to murder. There are other choices to not having to take care of a baby, like adoption. However, people choose not to do that because of how the child would feel – especially growing up. If the expectant mother was a victim of rape, having to think about the conditions you went through when you look at your child, (or explain where their father is, etc.) can mentally abuse a mother.

Abortion should not be banned because women shouldn’t have that right to be controlled by the government and their child should live in a stable household.
