In 1982 the U.S. Supreme Court ruled that drug sniffing dogs to personally search students violated the Fourth Amendment that amendment states unlawful search. However, the court has not ruled whether the use of the drug sniffing dogs on campus violates students rights. “The fourth Amendment requires administration to have reasonable suspicion that drugs are being stashed in certain places on campus before a search”(Too Nosy). If the schools want to get sued for random searches than they can go and keep doing the searches.

Than the school randomly decides to check your locker and there are a big crowd of kids around. If the kids see those things in your locker they will probably pick on them for having those stuff in your locker. If there is something suspected in your locker and they want to search it with no people around that is alright. But if all those kids around see everything in your locker they will pick on you.
