Environmental scanning is an organization’s strategic management and is actual important to the corporation. Environmental scanning is getting-together data for the external and the internal of the company. A SWOTT is the paramount technique to gather the data. A SWOTT is defining the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, threats, and trends of the business. Environmental scanning can be defined as the procedure of collecting, examining, and assigning data for strategic purposes. The finest way to achieve environmental scanning is by generating a SWOTT analysis. A SWOTT analysis is in what way a business can outline the company’s strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, threats, and trends that are significant to the business. The corporate environment of a business makes known much about competitiveness and the likely encouragements on the success of its strategies. The emphasis of this paper will be an environmental scan of the internal and external environments of two real-world businesses, both their competitive benefits and company strategies for producing value and supporting competitiveness, measurement procedures for confirming strategic effectiveness and evaluation. PEST Analysis of Nike Nike is the top footwear business in the world. PEST Analysis sums up in what way the firm's business strategies charge in the macro environmental level. “Nike has some 20,000 retailers worldwide including Nike factory stores, Nike stores, Nike Towns, Cole Haan stores, and Web sites which sell Nike's sports and leisure products. Nike accounts for 33% of the global market share in the athletic footwear industry”
