XYZ Company Employer-Employee Honesty Code 1. Underlying Principle Honesty in the workplace is a requirement for the company’s internal and external positive image and reputation. Additionally, acting with honesty and integrity provides an environment where each employee can be proud to work. Simply put, it means that each employee should strive to do the right thing, in all things, while treating each other with respect and dignity. 2. Employer - Manager Responsibility Each manager is responsible for: - Following and representing the doing the right thing, in all things, attitude. - Ensuring that all employees under understand their role and responsibility to adhere to the XYZ Company Honesty Code. - Creating an atmosphere that promotes employee feedback regarding the XYZ Company Honesty Code without fear of retaliation. - Creating an environment where employees feel “safe” when reporting violations of the XYZ Company Honesty Code. - Encouraging all employees to not ignore the XYZ Company Honesty Code in order to achieve the firm’s financial goals and objectives. - Acting immediately on any violation to the XYZ Company Honesty Code. 5. Employee Responsibility All employees are responsible for: - Understanding and adhering to the XYZ Company Honesty Code at all times. - Discussing questions or concerns regarding the XYZ Company Honesty Code with their manager. - Reporting any and all XYZ Company Honesty Code violations to a member of management. - Accepting responsibility for any personal actions that violate the XYZ Company Honesty Code. 6.
