My public figure is Eminem, he is the rapper. While doing the writing task 2, I’ve spent a lot of time on his songs, tried to understand what his slang words in the song. And tried to know his personality or his opinion throughout the songs. As far as I know that Eminem is the only rapper who called themselves a Rap God and actually proved it. The song “Rap God”, which was released in October 2013, as the third single comes from Eminem’s eight album, The Marshall Mathers LP2. Eminem spits a total of 1,560 words on this super-lyrical track. It earned him an entry in the 2015 Guinness Book of Records for "most words in a hit single."

Because he has contain some slangs about homophobic in his lyrical content. In “Rap God”, Eminem has finally explain that he poke fun at other people, himself. But the real him talking to people has no issues with gay, straight, transgender, at all. These lyrics show that he think people know his personal stance on things and the personas that he create in his music. And if someone doesn't understand that by now, he does not think there is anything he could do to change their mind about it. Eminem just focus on making good music to people and know how to comfort himself from an anti-fan. In my opinion, “Rap God” is the song also the way to see different angle, different vision of Eminem. He has the way to explain about his words and state his opinion about his life. People can understand him much more than before. Especially, Eminem has compared himself as Rap God in this song “I'm beginning to feel like a Rap God, Rap God”, determine his position in underground music that he is the highest one and “Everybody want the key and the secret to rap. Immortality like I have got”. Last but not least, the reason why I chose “Rap God” to be a song that connection to my public figure, that I feel free when we live in a time where it's really starting to feel like people can live their lives and express themselves as Eminem is doing in his
