Electroencephalogram (EEG)

I have suffered from a two week long serial of seizure which I loss my eye sight, after given birth to my first born. Awaiting from my deep sleep , have a big machine in my hospital room cords connection to my head. EEG was useful to the doctor, they were able to tell when I was getting ready to have a seizure. I understand the EEG process, the problem that I am having trouble with is the brain disorder of epilepsy . I currently have a co worker that suffered very badly from this disorder, he could be carrying a conversation with you , and the next minute taking all clothing off and having a seizure. After about five minutes of this episode, he is very tried . What is the cause of Epilepsy ? From the understanding
