1. Sperm starts within the testis, in which it then passes into the epididymis and sits until it matures in the few days that it had waited. Then, the sperm is forced up into the ducts (vas deferens) into the seminal tubule and into the ejaculatory ducts, which moves semen into the urethra. Once that occurs, the semen covers the sperm and it moves into the prostate gland and down into the urethra opening. Semen comes from the prostate gland and the main function of this fluid is to transport sperm to the female reproductive system.

2. The uterine cycle is the menstrual cycle while the ovarian cycle is a cycle that focuses on changes of the ovaries. These two make up the reproductive cycle. Both cycles are controlled by secretion of the hormones called Follicle-Stimulating Hormone and Luteinizing Hormone which focuses on the ovarian cycle, while progesterone and estrogen is responsible for causing the changes in the menstrual cycle. Once the menstrual cycle starts to end, low levels of estrogen and progesterone to release GnRH from the hypothalamus. FSH ans LH is released once the GnRH stimulates the anterior pituitary. FSH triggers the follicle phase causing estrogen and small amounts of progesterone to be secreted. A mature follicle, called graaflan follicle, moves to the surface, causing LH levels to rise when estrogen levels peak midway through the menustration cycle.
