Edgar Allan Poe was a mysterious and confusing author. He wrote so many stories about murder; he was often accused of them. Although he died at a young age of 40, people still think it was for multiple reasons. People say he died of rabies, alcohol, or encephalitis. Personally I find his work to be interesting and mysterious in many ways. I am writing this essay to say he was a great writer with problems .
Poe was born in Boston on January 19, 1809. David and Elizabeth Poe were his parents. Poe had two other siblings, Henry and Rosalie. When Poe’s mother died, the three were separated.
