Driver Referral Essay
When riders ask you questions about driving, it is a great opportunity for a potential referral. You will frequently get asked questions like “How do you like driving?” When they ask these questions they may be interested in becoming a driver. You may have people tell you they are thinking about becoming a driver. Now is your opportunity to give them your card with your referral code on it. Over the years, the world has seen a rapidly increasing number of teen involvement in drunk and reckless driving cases, specifically from the time periods 11 p.m. to 4 a.m. A 12 a.m. curfew on weekends and a 10 p.m. curfew on weekdays would help to protect teens and others on the roads late at night from getting into troublesome or dangerous situations. In my town of Leesburg, Virginia, a 12 a.m. to 4 a.m. curfew is placed on anyone under the age of 18 on all days of the week. The curfew is used to minimize the amount of inexperienced teens on the road during hours where driving can be difficult due to things like fatigue and/or the influence of illegal substances. Many teens don't see the risks of driving under the influence of alcohol late at night or driving late at night at…

Drivers previously working for Uber ride-hailing service filed a lawsuit in 2013 that has recently been certified as a California class action. In the original lawsuit, Uber drivers alleged that they were misclassified employees. They claimed that Uber should provide compensation/reimbursement for vehicle expenses as their “employer.” Class action lawsuits can be effective at providing a remedy for consumers, but they are not a quick fix.…

Many people say that the new "Associate Referral Program" is a network marketing opportunity. They are wrong. It's actually more of an affiliate marketing opportunity. You sell a product that you didn't create and you will earn a commission as a result. You don't have to build your own network of people "under you", you don't milk them each month like you would normally do in a network marketing opportunity.…

There are times when you might not want to worry about driving. During these times it might feel good to just sit back and relax, while you leave the driving to someone else. Perhaps you're going on a brewery and wine tour with a group of friends, for example. It just doesn't seem fair that one person has to skip tasting the wine or beer in order to be the designated driver. What happens if the designated driver isn't as responsible as you thought? This can lead to a host of problems that can quickly turn a fun day out, into something that takes your life down a very difficult path. Instead of taking such a huge risk, it makes more sense to have a hired driver. No one makes a night out more fun than we do. Make West Coast Limo Bus in Chula…

I woke up on another school day, dreading that I had to wake up at the crack of dawn to drive for Driver’s Ed. I do the normal routine: brush my snarled hair, get on my blue jeans, a t-shirt and brush my pearly whites. I’m then standing looking out the window, waiting for Mr. Schimp to drive up to my house in the stylish, white, Driver’s ed minivan. I hop out the front door with my backpack and then get into the driver’s seat, ready to pick out my favorite radio station, Star 106.1. I was officially ready to start my 20 minutes of driving.…

If we don’t arm all of our airline pilots soon, and if hijackers come again, people will die. We don’t want to imagine anything like 911 terrorist attack happening again, or imagining the pilots in the cockpit scared and defenseless as they were trying to defend the plane, themselves, and the people on board. The pilots of the 4 planes were defenseless when the hijackers pulled out knives and took over the plane and hit the twin towers and The Pentagon killing thousands of people. If we put in a gun, in the cockpit with the pilots for defense then if anything happens hijacker wise then we will be ready and it can be handled. A quote by Duane Woerth, “The cockpit must be defended, and pilots must play a pivotal role in protecting their place of work” (4), and he's right. Pilots do not only drive the plane to the people who aboard destination but all the…
