Dr. Martin Luther King's Legacy
Dr. Martin Luther King Jr, leaves a legacy that represents, justice, equality for all, freedom and his commitment to non-violence. He is revered throughout the world from small communities, all the way to the White House. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr, name is alluded by many social arenas, community centers, as well as School houses all over the United States, even today in 2016. He is known today as one of the most predominate leaders in the Civil Rights movement. Due to Dr. King dedication and fight for justice, the legislation established a Federal Holiday in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. (Carson, 1987).
