Telemachus fought with one of the suitors and gained his father’s trust and respect. Penelope knew her husband was alive so she said that when she finished a task she would make a choice but she just kept undoing it to stall to wait for Odysseus.Penelope said whoever strings Odysseus bow and shoots an arrow through a dozen loops will be her husband.
